General Q&A:
What information do you need?
Here is a general list of helpful information to share, especially if I'm staying for more than a few days.
Emergency Phone Numbers
Water Shutoff Valve and Electrical Panel Locations
Alarm Code
Wi-Fi Password
Recycling and Garbage Pickup Schedules
Necessary Indoor Tasks
Necessary Outdoor Tasks
Ground Rules for Use of Home
Detailed pet instructions, documented
Your calendar says booked, does that mean you are unavailable?
Not always. Depending on the service I might be available to do more than one service at a time. For example, if I'm House Sitting, I can still do Walks or Drop-Ins. Especially on the weekends.
What does your availability look like in general?
I work for a local school, so when the kids are there, I'm there, and when they have vacation I have vacation. I get a lot of time off when people are generally taking vacations, but I will still take on local House Sitting requests while school is in session on a case by case basis.
How far will you travel?
I live and work in the Hinsdale/Brattleboro area. I will travel as far as Putney/Dummerston in Vermont, and Keene/Swanzey in New Hampshire. If you live outside that area, please still reach out. We might be able to work something out.
How do you accept payment?
I accept cash, check or Venmo, to be paid in full by the end of the services.
What age do you consider a dog a puppy?
Puppy pricing is applied until your dog reaches one year of age.
